Motorizations for sectional doors

400 V, 50 – 60 Hz three-phase gearmotor applied to the shaft of the balancing springs.

The gearmotor has different dimensions and performances related to the dimension of the sectional door.

OPERATION

Doors larger than 3 x 3 meters, require a gearmotor fitted to the shaft of the balancing springs.

Cables derailing and breaking is one ne of the most frequent problems with a gearmotor rising and lowering the door.  When the door accidentally hits the loading ramp connected to the vehicle floor and the lower limit switch of the gearmotor is set to stop the door at floor level, the motor continues to run, releases the cables down to floor level and generates cables’ derailing and overlapping which breaks the cables at the next ascent.
